Happy Holidays everyone! It's that time of year, where we can easily get caught up in the hustle of holiday shopping, traveling, etc. I've made a conscious effort this year to slow down, enjoy the stillness and live more in the moment. As Christmas is less than a week away, I thought it'd be fun to share a few of my favorite things from this season.

I recently had an event coordinator ask if I could design her a lovely wall calendar that she could easily reference for the new year. With a little bit of love, we landed with this beautiful yet simple 11x17 design; which is an easy print job at any local printer. For anyone trying to keep track of multiple events throughout the year - it's an easy reference point. Click HERE to Download the Calendar! Send it off to your local printer.  In preparation for December (When did THAT happen?) I took a little time out of my day to create a beautiful little desktop image for all to enjoy! I love the mix of a little calligraphy and an inspirational quote to get the day started. Click HERE to Download the artwork for your Desktop! (Be sure to right click, and the select "Use image as desktop picture".)  Poster concept developed for "Call for Artists". Finalist.  Music benefit show flyer - intended for fundraising for City of Hope charity event.  Greg (San Diego, CA) was a dear friend to Deora Bodley who passed away September 11th on Flight 93 which trashed in Somerset, PA. Somerset is only a few hours away from where I was attending college on 9/11. Every year Greg holds two music benefit shows here in San Diego in honor of the Flight 93 victims and Deora, one early September and the other in April around Deora's Birthday. He's raised over $8,000 for the Flight 93 organization. He travels to the memorial site in Pennsylvania at least once year, as he will this year for the 10 year anniversary ceremony. This year I challenged myself to produce my first video/motion graphics piece to help promote this story and bring more awareness to these benefit shows. After creating a rough storyboard, pulling in voiceovers from cell phone messages and cockpit recordings, mixing in acoustic sounds by Greg, some photographs, illustration renderings and text, you have....A Flight 93 story from a San Diego perspective. Project included creating a logo design, creative invitation and program event brochure for Sharp Healthcare Gala Event. Theme was based on Kaleidoscope.
