What's a "Holiday Neighborhood Front Porch/Door" Session?

It's a spin off the spring sessions that took place when the pandemic first hit. We wanted to accommodate families that were either impacted financially or that are at high risk (and therefor not leaving their home). 

Here are the requirements:
  • 4 families within a ~1 mile radius commit to a single day in ~ 1 hour timeframe. 
  • 10 minute session / $75 per family (1 payment of $300 required) /
    ​3-5 digital files

What's different this year?

Photographing during a pandemic has had it's fair share of challenges, to say the least. We want to ensure everyone feels safe during these times, so while photographing we will mostly be using a 70-200mm lens which will provide a safe distance during your session.

    Time slots are back to back, so it is crucial to arrive early to account for parking, walking, etc. Please be sure to read location details and ask any questions prior to the day of your assigned shoot. Bring a family member if that will help assist with little ones. Payment must be received in order to reserve you time. Please send to one of the following:
    Description of Services
    The parties agree that Amy Millard will furnish photographic coverage on the date specified. The photographer will be the exclusive professional photographer retained by the Clients for the purpose of photographing. Substitute photographers may be used in case of an emergency or if previously discussed with client. 

    Limitation of Liability
    While every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliver outstanding photographs, the Photographer’s entire liability to the Clients for any claim or loss arising from the Photographer’s performance is limited to a refund to the Clients of the amount paid for services. 

    In the unlikely event of personal illness or other circumstances beyond the control of the Photographer, the Clients may receive a refund of partial or full monies paid. Pictures are taken with available background. Photographers are prohibited from moving objects or performing any cosmetic duties. Performance of these functions is solely the responsibility of the client. The Studio cannot be held liable for factors over which they have no control which may affect the quality of the photographs, such as inclement weather, uncooperative guests, insufficient time allotment, client lateness, photogenic, and restrictions placed by the venue or clergy, such as no photographs allowed, no flash photography, limited angles, or dark lighting conditions such as candle light. (Insufficient time allotment includes clients arriving late to sessions. The session may be cut short and time is not guaranteed to be made up.)

    The client understands that high-speed capture must be used in dark lighting, which will create a grainy effect in photographs or long shutter speeds that will create blurred effects in the photography. Retouching/enhancing is available for purchasing, but not included in the cost. Double exposure, special effects and experimental photographs are not guaranteed.

    Copyright & Usage
    Clients will have the right to make and use copies of the images for their own personal use. The Photographer will retain copyrights to all images created and will have the right to make reproductions.  The Photographer may make reproductions for the Clients or for the Photographer’s portfolio, samples, or self-promotions (including but not limited to print, electronic, and internet media) or for blogs, publications, professional competition and review. 

    Exclusive rights for the client or company is available for purchase at $175/day. This removes the photographer's rights to use the photographs for any purposes.

    Do not do any of the following:
    • use the image for resale, whether on-line or not, including, without limitation, website templates, Flash templates, business card templates, electronic greeting card templates, and brochure design templates;
    • use or display the image on “on demand” products, including postcards, mugs, t-shirts, posters and other items for sale;
    • use any of the image as part of a trade-mark, design-mark, trade-name, business name, service mark, or logo (unless disucussed);
    • use the image in a fashion that is considered pornographic, obscene, immoral, infringing, defamatory or libelous in nature, or that would bring any person or property reflected in the image into disrepute;
    • sub-license, re-sell, rent, lend, assign, gift or otherwise transfer or distribute the image;
    • use or display the image in an electronic format that enables it to be downloaded or distributed;
    • use of image in photo contest, or any other form where the you receive a money award for use of image.

    Combining or altering images or any part thereof, is an exclusive right held by the photographer and permission to combine or alter should be obtained in writing prior to any such changes or uses.

    Social Media Note! When using image in social media (such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, blogs, etc.) images please display a photo credit.  

    Model’s Permission And Rights Granted:
    By making payment for this session, I hereby give Amy Millard my permission to license the images and to use the Images in any media for any purpose which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging for any product or service. I agree that the images may be combined with other images, text and graphics, and cropped, altered or modified. 

    I agree that I have shared rights to the Images with Amy Millard (unless upon other agreements). I acknowledge and agree that I have no further right to additional consideration or accounting, and that I will make no further claim for any reason to Amy Millard Graphic Design & Photography. I acknowledge and agree that this release is binding upon my heirs and assigns. I agree that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual, and will be governed by the laws of the state of California, excluding the law of conflicts. I represent and warrant that I am at least 18 years of age and have the full legal capacity to execute this release.

    Agreement
    This Agreement incorporates the entire understanding of the Parties, and the Parties agree to all its terms, and acknowledge receipt of a completed copy of the Agreement signed by all Parties. Any modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by all parties. Each person signing as Clients(s) below will be fully responsible for ensuring that full payment is made pursuant to the terms of this agreement.
